Emilee Gruse, PA-C
Emilee Gruse is a certified and licensed physician assistant and athletic trainer in Minnesota. She studied athletic training, with a minor in strength and conditioning, for her undergraduate degree at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania, where she played collegiate volleyball. After graduating, she practiced for six years as an athletic trainer in Lafayette, Indiana, where she worked for Franciscan Health St. Elizabeth Hospital and was contracted with a Class 1A high school. She was the athletic trainer for the 20 junior high and senior high sports teams, who won 10 state championships in football, baseball, women’s volleyball, and women’s basketball while she was there.
In 2016, Emilee decided to continue her education in the medical field and attended the physician assistant master’s program at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated in December 2018 with her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies degree, earned her physician assistant certification in January, and began her orthopaedic PA career at The Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in June of 2019.
Emilee is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistants of Orthopedic Surgery, the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Minnesota Athletic Trainers’ Association.
In her free time Emilee likes to read books; watch collegiate and professional sports games, in particular football; do crafty DIY projects; spend time with friends and family; and explore the area with her dog.
