Amber Hogan, PA-C
Amber Hogan was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised by her mother in metro Detroit until college. She’d had a passion for science and medicine since the fourth grade when she met Dr. Benjamin Carson. She then made sure to do whatever it took to work in the medical field. She attended Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she majored in biomedical sciences and minored in criminal justice. During her senior year of undergraduate studies, she decided that she wanted to become a physician assistant.
Two years after graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Amber was accepted to The University of Toledo’s physician assistant program. She served on the Physician Assistant of Diversity Association while she was there as well as participated as a member of the Student American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). After receiving her master’s degree in physician assistant studies, she accepted a physician assistant position with OFC.
Amber is a current AAPA member and resides in Eagle Lake with her husband and their dog.
