Orthopaedic conditions are those that effect the musculoskeletal systems of the body in some way. Thus, most problems that involve muscles, tendons, bones and nerves are all included under the broad umbrella of "orthopaedics."
Commonly, we see fractures due to trauma, sports injuries, wear and tear conditions of the joints (arthritis), overuse, and congenital problems. Our patients run the spectrum from infants to senior citizens, couch potatos to elite athletes, first time injuries to chronic conditions.
